The Hickerson Family has helped me out so much. They were, and still are, my second family. When my family was down and not doing so good, they were always there to help me get through it. They have taken me to many new places. I experienced things with them that I probably wouldn’t have experienced if it wasn’t for them. I went on family vacations with them a lot. We would go to the lake and stay in their camper, and they never cared that I was always over at their house and wanting to go everywhere with them. They always treated me with respect, and gave me words of encouragement. Never did they once judge me. They never tried to change me, or anything. They loved me for who I am. Without the Hickersons, I probably wouldn’t be who I am today. They made me realize that the kind of life that my parents have, doesn’t have to be the kind of life that I have to live. They helped me get back on my feet so many times. I appreciate what they have done for me. I do not think I will ever be able to give them the satisfaction that they gave me. The Hickersons are a big part of my life, and I hope to be able to show them one day what they mean to me. Chris, Charlie, and Chelsie, I love you guys!
