The Benkendorf Family’s Dream

As a family, we have been blessed and we want to pass it on. As with many families who feel they have been blessed, the real credit often goes to someone who made a difference in their lives. This could easily be the story of the Benkendorf Family and why we want to pass it on.

Paying It Forward:

So many people’s lives have been blessed because someone made a difference, and this is good. But too often we tend to ‘pay it back’ instead of ‘paying it forward’, and the chain is broken. If we give someone a compliment, it’s natural to expect a ‘thank you’. But the ultimate thank you would be seeing the seed we have sown being passed to others – the Pay-It-Forward concept.

To accomplish this goal, it is the voices from individuals whose lives have been touched by others that need to be heard – and need to be heard over and over again. So many individuals and families are struggling because of health issues, debt issues, marital problems, discrimination, sexist issues, child rearing issues, loneliness, a natural disaster, a weight issue, lack of self confidence, job issues, a death, and the list goes on and on. But, there are individuals and families who have experienced these issues and have weathered the storms. They are willing to share their stories of hope, their stories of comfort and their stories of peace. It is through these stories that a balance can again be maintained in lives marred with hardship and struggles.

This website, is dedicated to bringing stories of hope where challenge occurs, comfort where loss occurred, and peace where reality must be accepted. Too many compelling stories are never told and too many people are left without hope.

One of the major goals of The Benkendorf Family is to never have to ask for donations. To help fund this cause, The Benkendorf Family is introducing a casual clothing line with 100% of the profits going toward promoting the aswedoLife(R) Campaign. All clothing is branded to reflect the caring and the needs of others. (Music and art may follow.)

Through this website, the Benkendorf Family will aggressively work with schools, faith groups, civic groups, foundations, and all those helping hands in each community to bring you stories of hope and encouragement. This powerful community involvement, together with the voices of those who know the importance of a helping hand in time of need, will make a difference in many people’s lives.
