My church has touched the lives of boys at a boys’ home by acts of kindness. We do monthly food drives for the boys’ home. It is wonderful. It feels great doing something for someone that is less able to. We also did a walk-a-thon for a little girl that needed heart surgery. Her family couldn’t afford what needed to be done, so we got as many people that would pay to walk a mile so we could give this money to the family. The great thing is she was able to have the surgery, and she is still alive.
