In my mind, family is the best factor that makes me feel happy in life. But one thing happened 2 years ago. It was a day in July 2007. I worried a lot when my family had an appointment with an interviewer at the consulate to come to USA. If I was still 20 years old or younger, then I did not have to worry about that, but at this time, I was almost 21 years old.

Following the law of the consulate, I could not go with my parents if I were 21 years old. I was scared I had to stay alone in Viet Nam without my family. But luckily, when my family came to see the interviewer, they accepted me to go with my family because I still had three more days to get 21 years old. Now, when I think about that, I feel I am so lucky. Sometimes I wonder if my family had been late three more days, how I will be. Thank God, that did not happen. Now I have been in USA for 2 years with my family and I am acquainted with life here.

My family just has 4 people: my dad, my mom, young brother and me. But when we came to USA, we get a big family including my grandparents and uncle. After a busy day, we always reunite every night to tell everything that happened around us. I usually share with my family everything at school. There usually is the sound of laughing. Moreover, my family always gives me the best choice and helps me with a lot of things in my life. One thing that I have to strive for right now is to study hard so that I can help my parents when I finish at college.

I love my life with my family, because based, on family I can overcome every obstacle that I see. I am proud that I have a sweet family.
