Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. We human beings are the wisest creatures on earth, and as we live in society, we help each other at the time of need.
There are a lot of moments when people have helped me when I desperately needed it. But the one moment that I can never forget was this summer. It was July, when I, along with my two close friends, went to Coney Island in New York. We were so excited to see the ocean for the first time that we couldn’t wait to swim. We were really having a good time with the ocean waves in the scorching sun. We were there for 2 hours. After two hours, they told me that they were going to get the camera to take some snapshots.
When they left, I was alone swimming in the ocean. I didn’t realize that I was little far from shore when suddenly, my legs cramped. I didn’t know what to do. I saw a big wave coming towards me. I screamed for help but my friends thought I was just kidding. Then, in a fraction of a second, the forced water drove me away and I was underneath the huge wave. I was trying my best to swim but I couldn’t. Luckily the water guard saw me crying out for help and hurriedly came and saved me. Then, my friends also came and felt sorry for their ignorance. But I was very thankful to the guard who saved my life.
This is one of the most memorable moments of my life. I will never forget that guard for helping me and showing his kindness.
