  • 7 Minute Pledge

Can we change the world in 7 minutes?

The “7 Minute Pledge” is a program of aswedoLife® that encourages individuals to spend 7 minutes each day to share with others, to encourage others, and to compliment others in a positive and supportive manner.

This pledge does not involve money, only 7 minutes of your time each day to help make someone else’s day a little more fulfilled. Seven (7) minutes a day may not sound like much, but its accumulated effect can be enormous. Only 7 minutes per day equals 40 hours per year. Think how many people you can touch in a year’s time. Then think how many of those people will want to pay-it-forward.

Can we change the world in 7 minutes? Yes, you can!

"Doug Benkendorf, co founder of aswedoLife(R),  presented the ‘7 Minute Pledge’ to a group of students and faculty at SWOSU in Weatherford Oklahoma last month. I watched, as all those attending that “circle of kindness” luncheon heard his words, felt the possible impact of the 7 Minute Pledge and committed to the 30 day challenge.  It was a powerful moment,” said Dr. Cindy Dougherty, Dean of Students at SWOSU. “But the real power will come in the form of the life changing impact each will make in their daily 7 minute mission.  With so many folks in such need of care,  it is a concept whose time has come,”  she concluded.
